Please help me find a good home for two sweet Hurricane Irma rescued rabbits
Hunny Bun and Thumper. They weigh just over 4 pounds and are about a year old. Before the hurricane, my neighbor left for California, leaving the rabbits in an outdoor hutch. I rescued them so they wouldnt be killed in the storm. My neighbor never returned. I have had them spayed, and they are now ready for their forever home.
They are devoted to each other and are inquisitive. They love to do bunny laps and return to their area to use the litter box. These are happy, healthy free-roaming indoor house rabbits and I am looking for a loving low-stress home where they will remain indoors, eat a good diet, receive veterinary care and have room to run and play.
Please no children; as kits they were abused by the neighbors children and still run for cover when they hear children playing outside. In fact, they had been purchased as kits with a third litter mate who died. I assume because of abuse and/or neglect.
